Over the last several years, BBANYS has been working on expanding its scope to better serve our community beyond blood banking professionals.  In order to truly be more inclusive to the transfusion and cellular therapy community, we decided it was time to update the statements that define us as an organization.

So, it is with great pleasure that we introduce the new tagline and mission statement for BBANYS:

Tagline: "Driving Excellence in Transfusion and Cellular Therapy"

Mission Statement: "Uniting and educating all health care professionals in transfusion medicine, cellular therapy, and apheresis to ensure the highest standards of patient health and safety from donor to recipient."

Look for these changes throughout our website, social media, and other publications, and help us sincerely embrace this new era for BBANYS and our entire transfusion and cellular therapy community.
