Speaker Bio:
Dr. Victoria Costa is Assistant Medical Director of the Blood Bank at Tisch Hospital and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at New York University Grossman School of Medicine. She is also Interim Director of the 34th Street and 38th Street Clinical Labs affiliated with NYU Langone Health Perlmutter Cancer Center. She completed her undergraduate and medical education at The George Washington University, her anatomic and clinical pathology residency at New York Presbyterian – Weill Cornell Medical Center and her blood banking/transfusion medicine fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Her interests include medical and resident education and quality improvement efforts.
