Christine began her service on the BBANYS Board in 2019 and actively served through December 2024 when she accepted a position with the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida as Coordinator of the Patient Blood Management Program. Christine previously blessed the University of Rochester Medical Center for nearly 26 years, during which time she advanced the nursing professional’s role in blood banking and transfusion medicine. As chair of the BBANYS Education Committee, she worked with other committee volunteers to greatly enhance the association’s educational offerings, and as a Board member, she brought valuable insight to the BBANYS Board. Although Christine is no longer a BBANYS member, we are proud to honor her with our appreciation for her past service to BBANYS and the blood banking profession in New York State. Christine, congratulations on being named the first BBANYS Outstanding Service Award winner.
