Are you ready to help shape the future of BBANYS? We are now accepting nominations for the 2023-2026 Board of Directors! Help make BBANYS the best organization to meet the needs of blood banking and transfusion medicine professionals in New York State. New board members and executive officers will be elected at the 2023 Annual Business Meeting on Thursday, May 11 in Saratoga Springs.
BBANYS Board Member Qualifications and Expectations
- Must be a BBANYS member in good standing
- Agree to the expectations outlined in the BBANYS Board Commitment to Serve
- Commit to attending one monthly hour-long Board meeting via Zoom
- Agree to attendance and participation at in-person Annual Meeting
- Coordinate submission of one newsletter article per year (writing may be delegated)
- Coordinate submission of one podcast per year (may also be delegated)
- Agree to serve as a committee chair or co-chair
